Secure Web Login:
My A-Key Software Provides Secure Storage
and Use of Web Login Credentials

The usernames and passwords used for access to email, Web sites and networks are a known security risk.

Insecurely stored passwords and usernames are a low-tech risk, while key loggers that record every key pressed on a keyboard result in a high-tech risk. Though each method is distinctly different, they both have the same result. For both private users and IT, unauthorized access to Web log in credentials can create havoc and lost time restoring data, accounts and credentials.

My A-Key™ software pre-installed on A-Key® tokens enables users to automatically store the credentials to secure networks and websites in the A-Key® token's encrypted storage area and use those credentials to automatically log in to Web sites without touching a keyboard.

To use My A-Key™ software, a user just plugs their token it into the USB port of a computer, launches a browser and the URL they want to access. My A-Key™ software will detect whether a web site requires a user ID/password. If My A-Key™ software does not already have that information stored, it asks if the user wants to store it. The user then enters the required information into My A-Key™ software's interface, not the Web site

Once stored, users can carry this sensitive information everywhere they go. To automatically access a secured site, a user just plugs their token it into the USB port of a computer, launches a browser and the URL they want to access. My A-Key™ software will automatically fill in the user name and password fields (leaving no footprint and no keystroke to record in a key log) and log the user in without anyone seeing the credentials. With keyloggers on an estimated 50% of all computers, My A-Key™ software is not just convenient, it is necessary.

Since My A-Key™ software can be installed on any Authenex USB A-Key® token, all the features and benefits of the token are available to all My A-Key™ software users, which can include encrypted flash drive storage; password and brute force penetration protection; and One-time Password and Challenge/Response two factor authentication.
