Authenex
in the Enterprise
Authenex provides enterprises and enterprise
IT managers and staff with a wide range of products that help keep
both their networks and data secure. Authenex solutions enable users
to securely and efficiently access network assets and personal,
sensitive data any time, anywhere access. The Authenex suite of
applications can be leveraged by one single USB token called the
A-Key™ token.
- The Authenex Strong Authentication System
(ASAS®) is a network security application that provides strong
(two-factor) authentication for LAN, remote, VPN and web access.
The ASAS®
System helps keep your networks secure by requiring your users
to use their A-Key™
tokens to authenticate via either Challenge/Response or One-Time
Password (OTP) whenever they want remote
or LAN access
to networks, web sites,
portals, OWA servers,
etc. The ASAS®
System utilizes an authentication server and database, as
well as the A-Key™
token as the basis for the most secure, easy to use, simple
to administer and cost-effective two-factor authentication solution
available today.
- A-Key™
tokens are USB tokens that enable users to store data in encrypted
memory and safely take that data wherever they go. A-Key™
tokens can also be used for Challenge/Response, PKI, and One-time
Password (OTP) authentication. All data on an A-Key™
token is safe from unauthorized use and from theft. The A-Key™
token is password-protected and all data is encrypted. Also,
the token has brute force penetration protection: if someone tries
to log in to the token and fails a predefined number of times,
the token will self-erase. This feature resides at the hardware
level and cannot be altered.
- ACert™
software is an Authenex product that can be pre-installed
on A-Key™
tokens, enabling A-Key™
token users to securely generate, store, and use digital X.509
certificates.
- My
A-Key™ software can be pre-installed on A-Key™
tokens, enabling them to automatically store passwords and
user IDs to secure networks and websites in its encrypted storage
area. Without anyone seeing the user names or passwords, My
A-Key™ software can automatically log users in to Exchange
servers, company intranets and portals, Web sites, ftp servers,
VPNs, IM etc. My
A-Key™ software leaves no footprint and no keystroke
to record in a key log when it logs users in.

Authenex products enable enterprise IT manager
to resolve some of their most pressing security problems:
How can I keep
both my internal LAN and my offsite VPN access to the LAN secure
from information hackers?
Install the Authenex ASAS®
System. This will require remote and local users to authenticate
via OTP before they can access your network via LAN,
VPN or other remote
means. Since users never use the same password twice, access remains
totally secure.
How can I keep
my OWA users secure from information hackers?
Install the Authenex ASAS®
System with the ASAS
Plug-in for MS OWA Server. This will require users wanting access
to their enterprise email to authenticate via OTP before being granted
access.
How can I keep
my intranet and portal secure from information hackers?
Install the Authenex ASAS®
System with the ASAS
Plug-in for MS IIS Server. This will require your users, partners,
clients, etc. wanting access to Web sites, intranets and portals
to authenticate via OTP before being granted access.
I have a lot of
users carrying thumb drives, which can be easily lost or stolen,
and they often carry my company's sensitive data on them. Is there
a better way to protect our IP?
Deploy A-Key™
tokens to your users. The A-Key™
tokens can have up to two (2) gigabytes of encrypted, password-protected
storage. Also, the token has brute force penetration protection:
if someone tries to log in to the token and fails a predefined number
of times, the token will self-erase. This feature resides at the
hardware level and cannot be altered.
I want to control
my user's mobile information, but I have little IT resource to manage
this relative to my large number of users. Is there an easy, low
maintenance way to protect my “mobile” data?
Deploy A-Key™
tokens to your users that carry sensitive data on the road.
The A-Key™
tokens enables mobile security not only through encryption and
password protection, but also through has brute force penetration
protection. If someone tries to log in to the token and fails a
predefined number of times, the token will self-erase. This feature
resides at the hardware level and cannot be altered.
I use PKI infrastructure
and I am concerned that it is really safe, because the Private Key
is on the user's desktop or laptop. I know that password-only authentication
can be easily hacked. I also know that laptops can be stolen. It
happens all the time. Is there anyway to make my users more secure
without adding extra burden on my IT staff or users?
Deploy A-Key™
tokens with ACert™
software pre-installed. Public and private keys associated with
each certificate on the A-Key™
token are generated on the A-Key™
token, not the computer. Which means nothing is sent to, stored
or left on the computer. Users can have authentication, confidentiality,
and integrity all on the same token with ACert™
software. This makes the ACert™
software/A-Key™
token combination virtually hack and tamper proof.
