Nearly
everyone has information that they use on a near daily basis,
such as bank account numbers, bank web site access credentials,
social security numbers, VPN credentials, etc. With the addition
of My A-Key™ software, the A-Key® 3200, 4000 or
4500 token becomes the secure, portable data repository that
many have been asking for.
For example, it is not uncommon for someone to need to keep
track of five different web sites he regularly uses for work,
personal email, two bank accounts, postage on line, Amazon.com,
EBay, Netflix, etc. He could use My A-Key™ software
to securely store and use all the access and account information
on the A-Key® token. This could easily be 15 Web URLS,
passwords to several important applications used at work,
his checking account number and other information. In doing
so, this person knows that his encrypted information is secure
and won’t be accessible, even if his token is lost or stolen,
because the token is password protected and self erase will
keep all his data from unauthorized eyes. When he travels,
he can securely access web sites from a kiosk or Internet
café, because My A-Key™ software has his back. Without
his fingers ever touching the keyboard, My A-Key™ software
will log him into his secure web sites, thus frustrating any
key logger that lurks on the machine. |

My A-Key
software can be pre-loaded onto the A-Key 2300, 3500, 4000
or 4500 token and configured at the factory to automatically
access any web site you want when the token is inserted into
the USB port of a computer. This provides a great marketing
opportunity.
For example, a bank could use My A-Key on the A-Key 4000
token to not only promote secure use of on line banking, but
also to promote how seriously the bank takes the security
of its customers. In such a case, the bank would order a number
of A-Key 4000 tokens with My A-Key software pre-installed
and configured to automatically launch the company's web site
when the token is inserted into a USB port.
In such a case, the first time a customer used the token,
he would insert it into his USB port, Internet Explorer would
launch and the user would navigate to the page where he accesses
his account. He then enters his access credentials and logs
in. My A-Key software would save that information in the encrypted
storage of the token. Every time thereafter the user wants
to access the site he plugs in his token and navigates to
the log in page. My A-Key will log him in automatically. The
user gets the security and convenience of My A-Key, the security
of the A-Key 4000 token, and the bank communicates to their
customer that it takes both its and the customer's security
seriously enough to provide this product. The bank is also
kept fresh in the customer's mind, because every time he plugs
the token in, Internet Explorer launches that bank's web page. |
